Severe flooding in Southern Spain

This is my son Howard's garden in San Martin del Tesorillo, half an hour away from Gibraltar. The flooding was so severe he was stuck in his house for three days with no electricity. He lives a stone’s throw from the Guadiaro Riverthat burst it's banks. The intense rain rushed down from the Sierrade Ronda aggravating the situation in the Gibraltar area. Howard told me it had rained solidly for three weeks. Fortunately his house is elevated but the water still came up to the door.
